Evening Notes on June 26

It's a sad news... So far, the content scheduled to be released today is only half completed. For me, the quality of the content is the primary consideration. Now that I am writing the key plot at the end of the prison chapter, I can only decide to temporarily cancel today's update and all updates scheduled after June. Here I apologize (again) to everyone.

Coincidentally, this month's completed volume (30,000) is exactly half of the expected updated word count (60,000), which is exactly the same as today's sad report of 3,000/6,000 words. Although meaningless, I think it is a very interesting thing.

In fact, choosing to resume the update in June was a relatively risky decision.

In the 20 days or so after the college entrance examination, most of the time the school has schedules (including graduation parties, breakup dinners and other activities), there is very little time for actual creation. Chapter 10, released on June 21, was completed on the evening of the 20th. This is basically the case for the next four updates and so on. So the updates for the past few days have not been released on time at 8 o'clock. I am really sorry for making some friends wait for a long time.

In the past, 6k words was really not a huge amount for me, but it may be because I knew that the end was coming, and I became more and more careful when writing. Those few lines stared at a certain sentence in a daze. The plot is also tangled. I am now deliberately going in the direction of the ending. I often read the content I wrote before, and then I will not stop thinking about it for a long time.

One of the results is that the black and white cat's past that was originally planned to be deleted from the main line in the outline (it was originally planned to be released as a separate story), but in the end it was put into this chapter as a branch of the main line. The reason is simple, I don’t want the existence of the black and white cats to become pure “tool people” in the main line, so I ended their story in a way that is more worthy of them. Maybe I have always wanted to treat each character well. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the plot of the main line was better supported. After the prison chapter, only the tail remains, and then the world chapter.

Finally, give an estimate: Next month, ten days of continuous updates are still planned, but it is expected to update 8,000 or 16,000 words per day (if it is 16,000 words, the story may end in July/August).

That's enough nonsense. Good night to all of you.

May you all sleep peacefully tonight.
